• Overview – The Soulnote E-1 v2 Phono, released in 2022, is a solid-state MM/MC phono preamplifier featuring a fully balanced, non-negative-feedback analogue design for exceptionally transparent and dynamic vinyl playback.
• Pure Analogue Circuitry – Employing Soulnote’s proprietary non-negative-feedback topology, the Soulnote E-1 v2 Phono preserves low-level musical information while delivering outstanding transient speed, natural tonal balance, and ultra-low background noise.
• Flexible Cartridge Matching – The Soulnote E-1 v2 Phono provides adjustable gain and loading options for both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges, ensuring optimal compatibility and performance across a wide range of turntable systems.
New Type-R Circuit
The output amplifier incorporates the “New Type-R Circuit” developed for SOULNOTE’s flagship phono equalizer E-3. The dedicated power supply for the optical cartridge also employs the same discrete non-NFB regulator found in higher-end models. This forms the source of its organic and warm sound.
